All I do Is go to shows where I enjoy the music I love.I stand up against opression and believe in respect.When I feel like wearing spikes I'll wear em and If I dont feel like wearing anything I wont.Frankly I dont give a shit either way.So what I think is that punk should be about individuality.Dont feel you have to have the tatoos or piercings to fit in,because you dont.Its about being yourself,Wear whatever you wanna wear if its what you like and dont over analyse things so much that it gets ridiculous.Wheres the spirit of unity which is so needed especially now?Fighting never reaches a resolution.Everybody that goes on about what hardcore punks they are and how everybodies a poser except for them take a look at yourselves.Right now I'm wearing spikes-for myself :)

This sight is ok I guess but after reading the whole religion thing really pissed me off. If it's not your thing then more power to ya, freedom of speech, blah....blah....blah. But don't go writing about some thing that you don't know about and who ever wrote that obviously dosn't know about Christianity. Every thing cannot be taken out of context word for word and you failed to mention that what gets you into heaven is beleiving in Jesus-not throwing your life away and giving every thing away. The sad part is that some people will be pathetic enough to believe what you wrote without knowing the big picture. Bitterness, Anger, Desperation….These are three words that Philly’s ALL ELSE FAILED know all too well. ALL ELSE FAILED deviate between full on chaos and utter lunacy. Intertwining raw power with finesse ALL ELSE FAILED graced the scene by storm during the summer of 95” and ravaged the masses. With a take no prisoners attitude and a vicious live show, the band were gigging near and far before releasing their self titled 7” in 96’. Shortly after the 7” release the band recorded their debut full length entitled “A Most Bitter Season”. Sampling and aural manipulation have always interested All Else Failed and they chose to integrate both elements into their fold. The “In Times of Desperation” EP, was unleashed January of 2000. This release combined the bands signature sound of dissonant stop-start staccato guitar work, pile-driving drumming and distraught vocal passages along with the new element of sampling. The ep drew praise from fans and critics alike and earned them a foothold in the northeast hardcore scene. ALL ELSE FAILED recently played Hellfest 2K and have shared the stage with Converge, One King Down and Cave In. At present time ALL ELSE FAILED consists of vocalist Luke Muir, guitarist Pat Shannon, bassist Steve Weigand and drummer Dave Klenk .With this line up intact ALL ELSE FAILED went onto record the highly anticipated follow up release entitled “Archetype” produced by Ben Wienman (The Dillinger Escape Plan) From the opening track “The Hutton Play to the closing track “Stray Bullet” ALL ELSE FAILED spews forth the quintessential soundtrack to listen to while fighting a losing battle…Will you persevere?

The main focus will be about punk as an ever evolving and ever splintering movement. A vehicle for change.
Not just when it reared it's head in the mainstream and seemingly disappeared, because no one dresses like that
anymore.(i.e.: any film revolving around the Sex Pistols, any film made, that's based under the notion that it
is a single musical genre, taking most of it cues, coincidently from the Sex Pistols.) I plan on focusing on
bands that have incited change around the world, some of which have fallen from grace in the hyper self
conscious, eye of todays underground, but have none the less made, and continue to, make a change in lives, and
minds.
Being from the East Coast of America, however, is pretty limited to impact, not just in the area itself, but in
general. So I need input from anyone and everyone who can give it. Although, I'm going to take a brief look at
the close ties that punk has to fashion, (or anti-fashion to some) I'd like to just stick to social, spiritual,
and political momentum. Not, "John came up with this haircut back in '87, and things were never the same..."
If you'd like to help out, your contribution would be truly appreciated. Anything from stories, photos, videos,
interviews, music, even just a list of bands that you think have been a catalyst in peoples lives, and the way
they think. Thanks for reading this.
